Yarn: 12 skeins Cascade Lana D'Oro (50/50 wool/alpaca)
Needles: Size 7 Circulars
All my photographers went to school, so I was left to my own devices. BPT still needs a zipper, which has been special ordered. The color is better represented in the inside photos. This was a great pattern with some fun techniques: attached i-cord, picking up the hood stitches and keeping the cables in line, nice waist shaping. Let's hope Cascade re-introduces this yarn, because it creates a light, soft fabric which shows the cables nicely. And thanks to all who cheered me on to completion when I was really losing steam!
It looks fabulous! Bravo!

Looks great. Did you do something to stop the curl or is that just magic?

It's really pretty!

So pretty! It looks great on you~ very slimming (not that you need a "slimming" sweater). Are you happy with the finished look? Did you need to block it to get the "curl" out. Details, girl, details! :)

Did you lengthen the sweater at all? I loved it when I saw the pattern, though I thought it was a little too short, but yours looks perfect!

Awww, thanks everyone! I really do like it - it's warm and cozy and not a bit itchy.
Re: Curling - the blocking seemed to do the trick. I soaked it, spun out the excess water, and pinned the bottom and it just flattened out!
Re: Length - I'm so short that I think that's why it is that length on me vs. the tall drink 'o' water in the pattern.

Oh, yummilicious. I have some of that discontinued yarn in my stash, I do believe, in teal, maybe? Must get knitting faster. Thanks for the zipper link. I will use that for Kirstin.

Looks terrific. You did such a nice job knitting it. Have you put a zipper in before? I have read that can be quite the wrestling job...

Just wonderful, Mary Beth! I've been waiting to start mine until I saw how yours turned out. Now I have no excuse to put it off. Oh, and Norma, 10 balls would be just perfect for a sweater for moi. Danke

It's truly beautiful. I like the purple-y color, too, but the bluer is nice also.
You managed those solo photos pretty well, there. Just lovely.

What a comfy sweater, Mary Beth! I love the placement of those cables. And you did a great job on those 'self-potraits' too. I tried it and end up with strange shots of my body parts and the furnitures behind me.
