I remember how skeptical my Grandmother was when she got her first dishwasher. She just couldn't believe the dishes could really get clean in there! The rare times that she would use it, she would rinse and scrape so thoroughly before loading that the dishes could have skipped their trip to the dishwasher. I remember once I opened the dishwasher and she had kitchen linens in there - she decided bag it and use the thing for storage!
I feel like that with my newly finished sweaters. Throwing them into the washing machine? Will they really get clean in there? No, I must hand wash, in warm water, gently squishing the water through until it runs clean. Can you believe what comes out of Peace Fleece? First Sassy, and now Simple gets her first bath:
Oh, and by the way, I used 5 skeins of Peace Fleece. Here is what I had left from the 5th skein:
That carnation pink Crayola is dedicated to Annie!
You are so fast! It seems like you just started this jacket, and you're already blocking? Wow!
Thank you for the crayon. Ahhh. A brand, spanking new *pink* crayon no less. So nice.
They cut it close with the yarn, don't they?
Enjoy your weekend :)

I've been waiting not so patiently to hear your thoughts on Simple. I frogged back to the raglan increases, but I'm weary of it all by now. Hope yours turned out better than expected. Have a great weekend, Mary Beth!
