Sadly, all the good colors remained on the ball. That is the way it goes with Noro - you never know what will happen. This hat fits my 8 year old. Next time, I would make the larger size - it would use more yarn, and more colors too! I started this to have a simple fair isle project on the needles to share with students, but I got so caught up in it that I finished it before the next week's class.

I love it! I love the uses you find for Noro yarn- things I never would have thought of. They should reimburse you for all the positive advertising. :)

Before I even read the post, I thought - "Wow - the colors came out perfectly on the hat!". I like the way brown intersects with the black line before the decreases. And I really like that little stripe of bright green at the bottom edge. Definitely a cute hat!

I love it! Did you use the two colors shown? If so, how did the designs turn out to be all black? I wish I liked wearing hats. I will have to find someone who does so I can make this.

Just goes to show how different tastes can run -- I LOVE the colors that got used. So frosty and muted and wintry.

I've been looking at your archives and all the socks you've knitted. I'm new to sock knitting and am wondering how you got a pair of socks plus mittens out of Regia Crazy Colors. I'm knitting 2 socks from 2 skeins of Regia Crazy Color and I'm not going to have enough yarn. And now I can't find anymore of the same colorway. I don't know what I did wrong. Any suggestions?

Wonderful hat! I have a bunch of stray skeins of Noro bumbling about ... I think you just showed me a use for one of them.

Love the colors, though -- especially that bit of bright 'round the face. Very nice.

It's beautiful. I love the colors. I'm not a big fan of Noro, but it's always so pretty to look at.

That's a cool, but tiny, hat! I went to look at the pattern, and it is the very best thing in the current Magknits, but even that large size wouldn't fit my gigantic noggin, alas! Maybe I could add a repeat, or something...

Beautiful job on the hat. I made one the other day, and I'm loving it.
