This was pure indulgence to knit. Cashmere yarn and Brittany Birch needles. It took me a few tries to get the swing of the pattern. And I started on Addis which were too slippery. I ripped and restarted and it was such a pleasure after that.
This cashmere was equally as nice as Lobster Pot, just in more subtle colors.
This photo is the closest to the actual color of the scarf.
Added later: New top photo, white balance adjusted. Thanks, Kerstin!
It's really pretty, MB. What a treat to knit with that wonderful yarn. Is that for the store? Or a gift? Or better yet, for you?!

The scarf shows off the simple, yet wonderful beauty that the contrast between knit and purl can provide. I love it, and the yarn must be heavenly to knit with.

Love the scarf! And it appears unisex, right? Very nice. I have a bunch of alpaca yarn looking for a job.

It's gorgeous, MB. Love the pattern, the yarn, the color. Hey, try playing with the white balance setting on your camera. If you hit the "WB" button on the back, it'll bring up a menu where you change the setting from automatic to daylight. Experiment with it. I've noticed a big difference in color accuracy and have stopped using the auto setting.

That's so pretty! I have only knit with cashmere once but it was very nice. I may have to get that pattern.

Nice scarf! I'll have to remember those patterns when I get round to spinning up the alpaca I bought when I visited the farm year before last.
