Suzanne doesn't have a blog, yet she never fails to stop by and lift my spirits with her kind comments on my site. Over the past year or so, we have shared emails about our knitting, yarns, patterns and sometimes life things, too. She knit Inishmore in Patons Ballybrae, sadly no longer available on the market but a great yarn for this sweater. Doesn't it just look perfect on her? I have always wanted to knit a cropped Inishmore. Now I'm really convinced that there will be one in my future.
Thanks, all for your nice comments about "Holly". Any comments today should be for Suzanne!
I have always loved Inishmore, and the cropped one is fabulous. Mary Beth, you do a KAL and I'll knit one with you. I can't host one myself because I am completely unreliable, but I think peer pressure can be a good thing. Suzanne, positively inspired design. It has made many people happy if only to gaze upon.

Mary Beth,
Thank you so much for the flattering comments about Inishmore and for sharing my picture with your readers. It was quite a lift to my day to open up your blog just now and see it there. I loved making it and hope that all of you who start one enjoy the experience as much as I did.

I know I'm late here but I had to comment and say how beautiful Inishmore is. Suzanne, you did beautiful work! I've been captivated by the pattern and couldn't figure out what yarn to use. Today the stars were aligned - I found this example made with a yarn that is very comparable to Cascade 220, and I just bought some gorgeous 220 in a warm heathery blended golden wheat color. Now that I've seen this sweater, I'm pretty sure my new yarn wants to be Inishmore!!! Thanks for the inspiration!
