This is what my knitting has been reduced to. Not that I'm ashamed of it. I INTENDED on having something simple and quick on the needles to take around with me. But this thing has become my ball and chain! I got absorbed by Charlotte, so it was cast aside for those few weeks. Next week is the last week of school, so I have been so busy with year-end talent shows and beach parties and ice cream socials. I get home all hot and sticky and I just want to go to bed! And there it is. Staring at me. Saying "Come ON! Will you just finish me??" So I knit two rows.
I told myself I would not start Kersti until done with this Knitting Pure & Simple Henley in Plymouth Stone Cotton in Sage Green. Tonight the boys are out at a Mets game. Tonight's the night.

You go, girl! Get it done and outta your hair! Then....kersti is waiting! :)

Take your time! Kersti can wait a few weeks~ no rush. Enjoy the lovely simplicity of the topdown pullover. Knit away the stress!
OK. Can you tell I don't want you to win I mean, finish the knitalong first AGAIN?!?

Oh, that's lovely. I've looked at the henley pattern a couple of times, how does it FIT? By tomorrow we should know, eh?

It's that 'zen' knitting again. Just wrap the yarn around the needles (remember it's great yarn) and enjoy the process. It's pure and simple...zen. Kersti is worth the wait.

I hope you get some good knitting time in. That is a very nice color. And those P&S patterns are great. Go! Go! Go!!

You're on the home stretch! It'll be done in no time, and no finishing but the neck? You'll be wearing it in no time! Then on to the Koigu! Does the looking forward to spur you on or paralyze you? I always spend a little time in paralysis before I jump to and finish so I can move on.

Hmmm, I was sure I posted earlier but no post from me. Was I dreaming??? I think you Henley T looks lovely and there's hardly any work left - so go for it. You're probably already done by now.
I'm so jealous of your Kersti!!!!
